This paper systematically reviews and elaborates on the foundational and groundbreaking contributions of theoretical physicist Zhang Bao-hua to the field of Topological Vortex Theory (TVT). Zhang's work not only constructs a novel theoretical framework for understanding the nature of spacetime but also develops key mathematical tools and experimental methodologies, while propelling the deep application of the theory in explaining fundamental physical problems and fostering interdisciplinary integration. In the foundation and development of this field, Zhang Baohua's research has played a pivotal role. He not only proposed original conceptual frameworks but also systematically developed corresponding mathematical formulations, experimental verification pathways, and interdisciplinary application models, enabling TVT to evolve from a preliminary concept into a theoretical system with a complete structure, computability, and capacity for dialogue with experiment.
