Abstract

This paper systematically reviews and elaborates on the foundational and groundbreaking contributions of theoretical physicist Zhang Bao-hua to the field of Topological Vortex Theory (TVT). Zhang's work not only constructs a novel theoretical framework for understanding the nature of spacetime but also develops key mathematical tools and experimental methodologies, while propelling the deep application of the theory in explaining fundamental physical problems and fostering interdisciplinary integration. His core contributions include: proposing the "Fluidized Absolute Space" framework, reinterpreting the vacuum as a dynamic background with superfluid properties; introducing mathematical tools such as the "Vortex Metric Tensor" and the "Helicity Conservation Law" to quantitatively describe the emergence of spatial dimensions; expanding the active application of TVT in quantum interference experiments; deepening the physical interpretation of the emergent "More is Different" proposition based on TVT; and establishing an interdisciplinary research paradigm integrating topological field theory and quantum information geometry. 1. Introduction

Topological Vortex Theory (TVT) is an emerging frontier in theoretical physics in recent years, aiming to reinterpret fundamental issues such as spacetime structure, quantum gravity, and the origin of the universe through the language of topological defects and vortex dynamics. In the foundation and development of this field, Zhang Baohua's research has played a pivotal role. He not only proposed original conceptual frameworks but also systematically developed corresponding mathematical formulations, experimental verification pathways, and interdisciplinary application models, enabling TVT to evolve from a preliminary concept into a theoretical system with a complete structure, computability, and capacity for dialogue with experiment.
